Parlai was founded in 2023 by Stephen Biesty, who spent 25 years building mission-critical communications infrastructure for Optus, Telstra, the Department of Defence, the Commonwealth Bank and Transport for NSW.
He saw a clear opportunity: correctional communications had waited long enough for a platform designed for corrections from the first line of code.
